You should be comfortable with basic Linux or Windows administration. Complete beginners in IT Support Essentials first often move faster here.

What is a real limitation?
Sandbox environments reset weekly. Long-running personal projects cannot stay online between lab windows, so multi-week experiments need your own account outside class.
